Prohibited products and activity

  • Anything illegal in Rwanda or that helps others break the law.
  • Fraud, scams, deceptive schemes, pyramid or get-rich-quick schemes, and misleading earnings or investment claims.
  • Malware, credential theft, and tools designed to circumvent security or licensing.
  • Stolen, leaked or pirated material, unauthorised copies, and anything that infringes intellectual-property rights.
  • Personal data sold or shared unlawfully.
  • Harmful, exploitative or abusive content, including sexual content involving minors.
  • Impersonation of a person, brand or authority.
  • Products that facilitate academic dishonesty, such as completed assignments sold for submission.
  • Spam and unlawful marketing.
  • Dealings with sanctioned or restricted parties, or that breach export or sanctions rules.

Restricted products

Products about regulated goods or services, such as financial, legal, medical or investment advice, may need extra disclosures or proof of authority, and may be refused if we cannot verify the seller's right to offer them.

Platform and payment misuse

  • Moving buyers off Madeizzy to pay or to collect products, or otherwise manipulating transactions to avoid the marketplace.
  • Attempting to misuse checkout, including testing stolen payment details.
  • Artificial sales, self-purchases or fake reviews to raise rankings.
  • Abusing refunds or chargebacks.
  • Anything that breaks the rules of our payment provider.

Review and enforcement

Products and uploads may be checked automatically and by our team before or after publication. We may remove a product, limit or suspend an account, withhold payouts where the law or agreement allows, and refuse future applications. Repeat or serious breaches can lead to permanent removal. We may cooperate with lawful requests from authorities and payment providers.

Reporting a concern

Tell us about a product or behaviour that breaks this policy through the Contact page. Please say where you saw it and why it is a problem. We investigate reports and may contact the creator. Intellectual-property complaints follow the Intellectual Property and Takedown Policy.

Appeals

If action is taken on your account or product, you can reply with an explanation and evidence and ask for a review by someone who was not involved in the first decision.
