Eligibility and onboarding
Selling on Madeizzy is by approval. We may ask you to verify your identity or business and to provide payout information, and we may decline or end an application. You must be able to make a binding agreement and must give accurate information. If you act for a business, you confirm you have authority to do so.
Store agreement
Before you can sell paid products, Madeizzy records an agreement for your store that sets your commission and how earnings are calculated. Terms are fixed when the agreement is activated. A change is made by a new agreement; orders keep the terms that applied when their payment started. Commission, fees, payout timing and any holds or reserves are stated in your agreement, and are not set by this page.
Ownership and licences
You must own, or be licensed to sell, everything you list, and must not infringe anyone's rights. You keep ownership of your products. You give Madeizzy a non-exclusive licence to host, copy, display, scan, promote and deliver your products and listings to buyers, for as long as needed to operate the marketplace and meet legal obligations.
Listings and disclosures
Each listing must accurately state the product's title, type, description, price, what is delivered, format, access requirements and any limits on the buyer's licence. You may not publish a product without the required fields. Products must comply with the Acceptable Use and Prohibited Products Policy. Your own refund wording cannot reduce the buyer protections in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
You set your product prices. Promotions must be genuine and clearly described.
Delivery and support
Madeizzy delivers files and access through the Library, and files are checked before delivery. You are responsible for the content being what you described, for keeping it working, and for answering buyer questions in a timely way. You may not deliver or ask buyers to collect payment or products outside Madeizzy in order to avoid the marketplace.
Earnings and payouts
Madeizzy records each sale, the commission and what is payable to you, and shows them in Studio. A sale becomes available according to your agreement. Madeizzy pays creators by a method and on a schedule set in the agreement, and records each payment with a reference. You are responsible for your own taxes.
Amounts payable may be delayed while a payment is being verified, or held or reserved only where your agreement or the law allows.
Refunds, chargebacks and negative balances
When a buyer is refunded or a payment is charged back, the amount payable to you for that sale is reversed in proportion. If you have already been paid, your balance can become negative and the amount is deducted from future earnings. We may ask you for information to decide a refund and will keep buyer data limited to what is needed.
Prohibited conduct
You may not buy your own products to inflate sales or ratings, manipulate reviews, use stolen or unauthorised material, mislead buyers about earnings or outcomes, or misuse buyer information. Buyer information you receive may be used only to support that buyer's purchase, and you must protect it and follow data-protection law.
Intellectual-property complaints
If someone reports your product under the Intellectual Property and Takedown Policy, we may remove it temporarily, tell you, and give you a chance to respond. Repeat infringement can lead to termination.
Confidentiality and data protection
Keep non-public information you learn through Madeizzy confidential. Handle any personal data according to the Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.
Suspension, removal and termination
We may remove a product, suspend selling or terminate your account if you break these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if required by law or a payment provider, or to protect buyers. Where practical we tell you why and how to appeal. On termination, existing buyers keep the access they paid for unless it must be withdrawn for legal reasons, amounts properly payable to you remain due after deductions, and obligations about refunds, confidentiality and data continue.
Changes and acceptance
You must accept these terms and the Acceptable Use Policy, and see the commission and payout disclosures, before publishing products. We record the version and time. If we make a material change we ask you to accept again before you publish further. Earlier versions you accepted remain available to you.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Raise any dispute with us first through the Contact page.
